I loathe wedding. I don’t like dancing, the food is always tasteless, and I don’t enjoy our family. But when our child got married, I had to attend. I was only looking forward to walking her down the aisle. I wish I could have left once the ceremony was over. My wife was so gleeful for the day though. However, once the ceremony had completed, there was a large concern in the reception hall: the cooling system had stopped working properly. It was the middle of September and the weather was seriously hot. My child instantly broke down into tears, her new husband trying to console her. My family members that I despise began to complain about the situation. Since I am a trained Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional, I had to look at the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system to see if I could service the unit. While everyone was becoming hysterical, I found an employee at the banquet hall who showed me their cooling system. The concern turned out to be a simple repair, only taking me about 25 minutes. Soon enough, the cooling system was particularly working in the reception hall. My child was once again cheerful and our annoyed family members were happy and drinking at the bar. I only wish that I could have stayed outside near the air conditioning component for the remainder of the night. It was nice and quiet out there, without any terrible family members to talk to.
