I consistently suppose that when anyone decides to go the route of renting a cottage you have never seen or been to before, that there will be risks involved. You have no plan as to what you are walking into at the time of the rental, then for all you suppose they could promise any tenant zone control heating and cooling system, while you arrive to simple electric fans scattered throughout the house, on our arrival it was intensely warm and humid, the people I was with and I all tried to be grateful at this point for the promised a/c component that was said to be in the cottage. Every single one of us needed to cool down and fast for the people I was with and I were all overheated after our long drive through the mountains. When the people I was with and I first walked right into the doors the stuffy heat from the beach house hit our faces in the worst way, all the people I was with and I wanted was to open the windows to breathe a little. But then my husband confidently reminded myself and others that the people I was with and I had the a/c component and he cautioned us to wait to let it cool down the cottage for a minute, I was so grateful! One click on and then there was this loud cranking noise followed by a blast of air. But, worst yet, the air was hot! In fact the air from the A/C was hotter than the air that was in the beach house or outside already. Every one of us were quickly angry and started to open all the windows. The landlord said that an HVAC provider could come over in five days to look at it, but we were only there a week! Every one of us demanded our money back!
