Updating the heater system

My elderly mom refuses to substitute her apartment in any fashion. The wood floors are worn, the fixtures around the house are aged, and it still has some funky wallpaper from the seventies! She has owned the place since I was a kid, and I frankly cannot recall her decreasing anything about it. I can remember a few times when I provided help with regard to picking out some more modern furniture, even though she just laughed and told myself and others that she didn’t truly want to repair what wasn’t broken. The a single thing that complications myself as well as some others the most about her apartment is the outdated oil furnace. It has been there essentially since the apartment was originally built, and I worry that it is a safety hazard. I am mostly truly anxious that she may leave something flammable near it, and it will catch on fire. My mom is getting a bit older, so I know that she is less likely to consider these risks while in her biweekly life. Something else that has definitely crossed our minds has to do with leakage. This sort of thing, too, could cause a fire, or she could be exposed to carbon monoxide. I think the very best thing to do is to have a modern central heating and air unit installed. It will be a little expensive when it comes to the upfront costs, however the peace of mind it would deliver myself and others would make the fees worth it. Aside from that, it would make her life much easier. She would be able to keep the comfortable air at the perfect level. To add to the benefits, she would even be able to have zone control features completely installed so she could adjust the settings from her own room. I think I am going to call a competent local Heating and Air Conditioning company soon to have them deliver her an estimate on the installation.
