I feel the warm air of summer sneaking in and already I am planning for winter. I know that three months from now, a chill is going to be in the air, and I’ll be doing the same thing I am doing right now, but in reverse. I am putting in the air conditioners, and cleaning the electric hot water, so we can shut down the oil furnace, and prepare for the new HVAC system which is being installed over the summer. We are going to have climate control, and I especially look forward to the air purification system because I hate to dust. The HVAC company installation professional installer said that my dusting would be cut by about ninety percent and that was a go for me. For now, however, I’ve got to put in the window air conditioning units and make sure the filters are clean and the blades need wiped from the grime they have collected over the last several months. Come colder weather, I will be removing the air conditioners and sealing my windows to keep the cold out. The big difference will be that I won’t need to prep them for use next year. I will have my brand new HVAC system in place and have the warmth that I have dreamed of for the last year. The air purification will solve most of dusting woes, and the climate control, will eliminate the moisture, and keep ice from building up on the inside of the windows. Next summer, I can look forward to no humidity in my home, constant temperatures, and no dust. Do I keep saying I hate dusting?
