My associate got a strange text message about three a.m. every day from someone in another nation. She didn’t understand what it was saying because she doesn’t speak a foreign language. The following nights she gotten the same message every night about three each morning. As she was explaining it to her friends on the job, they all seem disturbed. They all agreed she should call law enforcement to investigate the messages because of all the uncertainties in the world today. She really didn’t want to turn this into a national ordeal. Then my associates central heat and air conditioning system quit working. So she called in her HVAC contractor to perform an inspection. He pulled out her A/C filter and couldn’t even see through the dirt. The fan on the outer unit was making a horrific noise. So first he took care of this problem. The thermostat wasn’t operational either so he installed a completely new one. Finally he finished and the air conditioner ended up working again. A big thank you to the HVAC contractor. She was talking to him regarding the text messages she’d been accepting from that other country. He said he’d been involved in classes on foreign languages and that he would try to translate it to her. After he saw it that contractor started laughing, and told her she had nothing to fear. The written text was from someone who obviously got the number wrong. In his language it stated Dear honey I miss you a whole lot and I hope to find you real soon. Look for me again tonight about three. Needless to say she woke up at 3 and could not retreat back into sleep. I guess she needs to worry less about text messages and more about her air conditioning.
