Not ready for heater yet

Earlier during the summer, I decided to move into a new house with my very best friend. The people I was with and I most recently graduated from our College. We both wanted to transfer from our parents homes to a rental of Art. The decision was definitely ambitious, because both of us had recent new jobs. The people I was with and I didn’t have a whole lot of money save, and the rent was a bit higher than we both hope for. Both of us really like residing by ourselves, and being independent. The next big decision happened to be when both of us wanted to use the furnace. The people I was with and I were waiting for the cold phone lights, as both of us didn’t want to use the heating system. The electric bill was manageable, but both of us knew that as soon as the gas heating system was on, the payment would increase dramatically. People would constantly ask why the apartment was so cold, but we didn’t want to tell people that we didn’t want to turn on the heating plant. Eventually both of us will have to turn on the heat, and figure out a way to pay for the bill. There’s no way we’ll be able to last the entire winter without using our heating system. A lot of our friends told us that we don’t need to run the heating system all day long, and that’s great news. We’re hoping to only run the heating system when we are actually in the house, and not while we are at work.
