Hoping to get a radiant heater

I am really saving my money to renovate my entire family room.  The family room is terribly aged, with ancient types of appliances, cheap cupboards, stained countertops, peeling linoleum, & water damage on the walls as well as the ceilings.  I am planning to gut the whole room, right down to the studs.  I need to have the pipes as well as the drains replaced, up-to-date electrical wiring put in, & up-to-date windows.  I hope to afford some types of hardwood cupboards, granite countertops, & stainless steel appliances.  It will be a really rather expensive and labor intensive project, however if I get everything perfect, it will be well worth the trouble.  One of the biggest priorities is the gas furnace.  I live in an section with serious Wintertime weather, & I need to have an effective means of heating. I don’t want the heating component to take up a huge area or cost a fortune to operate.  Because I already have a boiler installed in the basement, I know that radiant flooring is the perfect solution.  The entire plan is concealed beneath the floor, & it operates rather quietly.  The heat is spread evenly & rises gradually from the floor, warming all of the surfaces. This eliminates the occasion of cold surfaces stealing body heat, drafts, & uncomfortable temperature fluctuations.  I’ll be able to set the temperature control a few degrees lower without actually sacrificing comfort.  Plus, the radiant flooring will give zone control, so I can adjust the temperature in the huge family room independently from the rest of the house.  I can’t wait to throw away my slippers, & have comfortable feet while I rest in my family room.  Hopefully, I can save up enough money to beginning my project in just one more year.
