I have a friend named Betty. She likes to call herself “Chef Betty,” but she absolutely should not do that. She is not actually a chef! She is just a girl who likes to eat a good deal. She enjoys eating so much, that she became interested in cooking the food she eats, however over time, she got really great at cooking. But she taught herself. She has no formal degree from an official cooking university. Unfortunately, she has been charging people for cooking lessons at her university for several years now and they are unaware they are being swindled. However, for one thing, she refuses to spend any money to design plus install a professional a/c program in her cooking university. It is consistently about 80 degrees in her building. Also, it is way too humid inside. The amount of moisture within the air is almost unbearable. Most of her students have to attend classes wearing swimsuits plus mesh tank-top shirts. Otherwise, they would all faint from heat exhaustion. I am a NATE-certified Heating, Ventilation plus A/C serviceman. I offered to design plus install an official cooling program in her cooking university. I told her that I would supply her with a discounted rate, because the people I was with and I were friends. She chose instead to simply use some cheap, inefficient window-mounted AC units, plus box fans. She thinks they will create official air circulation plus reduce the humidity in her space. She is completely wrong. I wish she would take Heating, Ventilation plus A/C seriously. I am enthusiastic she is losing her business, but you can’t teach cooking in a humid room without an official a/c setup.
